PALM SUNDAY PRAYERS

Start your week of daily prayer that you are forever indebted to Jesus Christ for dying on the cross that we may attain eternal life, forgiven of our sins thanks to Him. Put your faith in the Holy Spirit, you will know when God grants you infinite life. Walk with the Lord and you will be reborn.
As Jesus enters victoriously into Jerusalem to do his Father’s will, we turn to the Father united with our crucified Saviour and pray:
That the suffering and death of Jesus Christ will strengthen the Church in steadfast holiness and give her new growth.
For those who are to be baptised and received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, that these final days of preparation will be an occasion of transforming grace.
That civil authorities will use their power to protect the poor, oppose injustice, preserve freedom, and promote lasting peace.
That Christians everywhere will live this Holy Week with special reverence, awareness, self-giving love, and devotion.
That God will shelter all persecuted Christians and make their witness effective for the redemption of all.
That our Lenten discipline will continue to transfigure the way we live in ever deeper conformity to Christ.
Merciful Father, by the Holy Cross of Christ…

When we walk with Jesus we go with an abundance of peace and joy in all we do. Today, on Palm Sunday, if Resurrection Day had not occurred we would have no Palm Sunday. What does Palm Sunday represent to you? How often do you think about Christ on the Cross suffering so horrifically to the death for yours and my sin? Would you give your life for Him? For another Christian? Be of great thanks today as we inch closer to Good Friday and the Resurrection. God loves you…
