Today I received this beautiful Butterfly Light Award for Spreading the Light from Coach Muller. I could not have asked for a more rewarding and satisfying award from anyone or anywhere else on wordpress. Thank you to Belinda and Coach for your generosity. I feel the need to spread the light because I have lived with chronic illness for numerous years and through each year the Lord has brought me closer and closer to Him, gently being taught the purpose of my existence on this earth by Him. As my life passes by without having the benefit of seeing many people in person due to my illness, I do not ever think about how horrible it is that this illness came upon me but I thank God for working through my pain to bring His word to all others. Maybe you are not quite ready to take on what seems like a monumental task in walking the walk with Jesus, but if you continue to follow those on wordpress who are sharing and spreading His love, you will only feel how monumental your life is here on Earth through Him. Thank you for allowing me to share my life and thoughts of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.

Beautiful novel with heart and soul,April 23, 2014
The authors voice is so true you could believe that she experienced this events first hand.
Lilly, Madeline and Lorraine are paragons of faith. No matter what life threw at them, they handled it with faith. Battling two world wars and emigrating to America- these women never lost hope.
There is so much more in this book, like Lilly and Valentin’s tender love story that defies all the odds. You just have to read it to believe it. Some label this book as Christian fiction, but I don’t agree. This is a book about love hope and faith and it is for everyone; it shouldn’t be pigeon holed into one genre.
Overcoming is a big theme in the novel and how families cope with adversity and triumph.
For me, on a personal note: This book is an allegory. An allegory on how to succeed at life by having faith. Brenda Brown Elliott and her strong role model characters showed me what every woman should aspire to- true grace. whttp://www.amazon.com/Courage-Times-Three-A-Novel-ebook/product-reviews/B00EZY2ELA/ref=cm_cr_pr_btm_link_next_2?ie=UTF8&pageNumber=2&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=byRankDescending

This review is from: Courage Times Three. A Novel (Kindle Edition)
This novel is about personal, family, and human love, faith, and hope. The author has done her research as she builds the setting and characters. She leaves nothing to the imagination in her descriptions. Beginning during WW II this family story moves across generations. You feel what once was, and you can hear the bell peeling through the countryside as it signifies a message of hope, joy, and freedom. You will sense the anguish, loss, pain and tragedy and you will see and feel the moral fiber woven through the words on each page. The author gives life and authenticity to her writing.
