Stairway To Heaven
After a major life change in 2004, my ability to work for a living was stripped away by carbon monoxide poisoning which led to immune disorders. Those immune/endocrine/neurological deficits took away all of my social life as I was kept a prisoner in my own body for years.
Once I let go of the anger and disappointment that mid life presented, I regained a new faith in God, becoming a born again Christian. It’s been said that we are Bible thumpers, radicals, living in fairy tales, etc. But when God takes a very difficult challenge and uses it to shape you into one of His children to serve His purposes on earth, it just becomes what He wants. He’s da boss….He rules the world, the universe and all of the galaxies….
I have four children, 12 grandchildren, a wonderful husband and my doggies. I am still sick and can’t do much physically and, at times, not mentally either, but I have much to be thankful for. And one new blessing is getting into blogging. I hope you will give me a chance to spread my wings, to be the best I can be.

Hi Avie… I’ve been away busy working on building my own website. I got it pretty well set up for now but missed WordPress so had to get back. This can be quite addicting can’t it? I hope you are doing well. Our pastor just asked my husband to teach adult (over 40 crowd) Sunday school after church so that will be fun to be a part of. He is very well read theologically. And a good Christian.

Thank you, Brenda. I’m sure I would enjoy it, but right now I am still involved in working towards my bachelor’s degree so I am over run with books to read. Maybe at a later date I can take some time to just read a fiction novel!

I haven’t forgotten about you. Your faith had a good and lasting impact on me. I am so pleased for you with your courses. You’ve worked hard. My husband graduates in May from a two year degree in computer technology. You can both be very proud of your great accomplishments.
I have three book signings coming up next weekend up north about 250. My sister lives there. It’s where we grew up. Going with my mom so it will be a wonderful time for visiting and sharing God’s love.

Good Sunday morning, Thunderboomers ringing out with massive strikes of lightning woke me up early today and in immediately finding my laptop I was perusing old posts and found yours.
