Lilly, Lorraine, and Madeline are three faith-filled, courageous women who endured the World War II era and all its horrors. Their faith brought them through, and they were able to survive and make new beginnings by immigrating to America. This is an inspirational, Christian book recommended for people who enjoy Christian novels. It reads like a story being told, like a bud gradually opening and blossoming, just as inspirational as the beautiful cover. If you enjoy World War II novels, you will enjoy the story of three women survivors who refused to give up. The women were well characterized, and a reader can’t help but feel what they had to endure. They enjoyed love, endured loss and heartache, overcame with strength and determination, and courage and faith saw them through.

Courage Times Three is a story about three courageous women: Lilly, Lorraine and Madeleine. While living in Europe they endured terrible deprivation and suffered through the horrors of World War II. Because of their steely determination and Christian values they survived the war, but at a high cost. Despite this they were determine to make new lives for themselves. Along with new husbands, who had also experienced many hardships, they immigrated to America and flourished. Because of their faith in God and inner strength, they took on new challenges in good and bad times knowing their faith would not let them down. As a result they raised wonderful God loving families and achieved the American dream. For those who read Christian fiction, I recommend this novel.

The three main characters in the story, which is set in WWII era, are each faced with trying circumstances. Just as we all are faced with our own unique life experiences, these characters drew on their faith and inner strength to carry on through their lives. Most of us have never been faced with such life or death, wartime issues, but we can use these characters as examples. We are all part of that beautiful energy that we call God and when we remain open and connected to that we can survive and thrive in the good times and bad. I highly recommend this novel. I read it quickly and I am now going to reread for more depth. Well done!

If you are one of those readers who is always looking for an excellent book to read, but always seem to pass up the Inspirational, Christian, Religious, books, thinking they are not what you care to read. Well, after reading “Courage Times Three”
Novel, you will find it very interesting, and you cannot put the book down. You then start to look back on your own life and discover that if you had Faith and Trust in God through all your hard times, he would have been there to help you through, and your heart would have been filled with Love, Kindness, Patience, determination, understanding, and cooperation…..Truthful, Thoughtful, and Joyful. It is not too late to have “God” in your life…You can Save your life, and many others too….God Bless all of you…..I am reading this book for the second time, as it warms my Heart…..

This a a beautiful story about a few people who staied true to Gods in the good times and the bad times. I am a Christian Pastor, and I have been through some really tragic things in my life and this book actually captures the feelings of hopelessness, shame, hurt and pain but IT CLEARLY pours your sould with great emotions of joy, happiness, endurance and strength to get through the bad things in life. I could not put this book down and read it in one sitting because it captured the very essence of a persons sould in troubles, but then in blessing as well. Great Job Brenda!

This story is very interesting and well written. The three main characters are Lilly, Madeleine and Lorraine. The story details their spiritual lives that never waivered during the good times and the tragedies that were a great part of their lives during the time of World War I and the intervening period through World War II. Their survival no doubt resulted from their religious beliefs and activities while living in Europe and their eventual emigration to America. My feeling is that if young people read the book they could have a factual account of what probably occurred many times during the period involved.
