A terrified cat leapt from the third floor of a burning building – seconds before it caved in. Charlie Jasper was caught on camera jumping into the void after the apartment complex in Celebration, Fla., burst into flames Tuesday afternoon following a lightning strike. Miraculously, he survived. “It jumped out of the third floor window, landed on the cement and ran away. It didn’t bounce or anything,” neighbor Jim Cooke, who filmed the incident, told WFTV.The petrified puss was found minutes later and given an oxygen mask by firefighters, who said he was purring when picked up.”The cat just had burned paws, some scratches so far that I know he’s OK,” owner Josue Alicea told Click Orlando.
